Depending on the desired production quantity, MPL has semi-automatic to fully automatic packaging lines which may include unscramblers, deionized air wash, product fillers, cappers, induction sealers, lot/exp coders, labelers, and a variety of final pack out options.

MPL’s in-house validation team performs installation, operation, and performance qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ) on each piece of equipment at the time of installation. Scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration is performed by the experienced equipment maintenance department.

Each piece of equipment is generally housed in a dedicated, pressurized and HEPA filtered packaging suite. Air quality is monitored through the global environmental monitoring program. Cleaning validations are performed to ensure no carryover from one product to another and that clean-in-place (CIP) systems are effective.
