MPL has the manufacturing capabilities to produce liquids, solids, or virtually any semi-solid dosage form by utilizing high sheer and powder dispersion in-line mixers, propeller-driven lightning motors, planetary mixers, V-blenders, encapsulation, tablet compression, and coating pans. Our liquids, suspensions, syrups, gels, lotions, creams, ointments, foams, pastes, shampoos, powders, tablets, and capsules are all produced in accordance with MPL’s internal design control process to ensure all requirements are met. Whether lab, pilot, or full commercial-scale production, our diverse mixing and homogenizing systems are designed to ensure a validated process can be achieved. Our dual de-ionized water systems produce USP-grade purified water and are monitored daily for total organic carbon.
MPL also has a wide variety of semi-automatic to fully automatic packaging equipment which gives us the expertise to package products into bottles, tubes, jars, pumps, aerosols, sprays, syringes, pouches, packets, blister packs, and bulk packaging. Our packaging capabilities include liquid filling lines, piston fillers, auger and gravity fillers, horizontal form, fill and seal machines, packet and wipes machines, tablet and capsule filling, tube fillers, and syringe fillers.
MPL's contract laboratory services allow the company to provide its customers with assistance in all phases of product development, including reverse engineering, test method development and execution, and ICH compliant stability programs. Our team of analytical chemists have a multitude of specialties and are well trained to operate our in-house testing equipment, which includes high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), Franz-cell, particle size analysis, fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), UV spectrophotometer, disintegration, dissolution, as well as perform general wet chemistry for titrations, viscosity/SG, specific ion electrode, and pH testing.
MPL uses its wide range of high-quality laboratory equipment to ensure that all raw materials, bulk in-process testing and finished products meet the pre-determined specifications. Each lot is released with a Certificates of Analysis (COA) and/or Certificate of Compliance (COC) and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) can be regenerated upon request.
Our validation team works closely with the QC lab to ensure all process validation (PV), packaging qualifications (PQ), and cleaning validation (CV) samples are tested in a timely manner as dictated by the approved protocol.
